  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 5 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 can pureed pumpkin (or 1-3/4 cups fresh)
  • 1/4 teaspoon each ground allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2-3 tablespoons real Vermont maple syrup

  • 1 quart/1 liter chicken stock
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • kernals from 2 ears of corn
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • lime juice to taste
  • 2 avocados, large dice
  • 8 t0 12 corn tortillas, fried crispy
  • cilantro to taste
