Peach And Blueberry Crisp from Pamela Salzman
  • 6 medium peaches, pitted and sliced, about 4-5 cups (you can peel if you want)
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup whole grain flour, such as whole wheat pastry, white whole wheat or brown rice flour
  • ¾ cup coconut palm sugar or brown sugar (coconut sugar is less refined)
  • ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats (look for gluten-free oats if you gluten intolerant)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 8 Tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces

The Barefoot Stir-fry from The Kitchn
  • Peanut oil and ghee
  • 1 small red onion
  • a few green onions
  • 1 very small spicy pepper, or to taste
  • 2 cups broccoli, chopped
  • 2 cups roasted cauliflower (leftover from last night's dinner)
  • 1 or 2 chicken sausages, chopped (ditto)
  • 4 cups leftover brown rice
  • 2 eggs, beaten with a dash of gingered vinegar
  • Umami salt, fresh pepper, fresh chives
