3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

3 baby pattypan squash, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

3 baby zucchini with blossoms, squash cut into 1/2-inch pieces, blossoms quartered lengthwise

Salt and freshly ground pepper

8 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

6 ounces sorrel, stems discarded and leaves chopped

1/4 cup fresh or thawed frozen petite peas

4 scallions, white and light green parts only, thinly sliced

2 teaspoons snipped chives
