use beans, rice, quinoa, tofu, sweet potato, black eyed peas, roasted vegetables, mushrooms even nuts to make meatless burgers.

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp onion, diced

3 tbsp peppers, diced (red, yellow or orange bell peppers)

1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, minced

1 tbsp sun dried tomatoes in oil

12 oz beans drained (chickpeas, white beans, black beans)

1 c rolled oats (blended to a powder in coffee grinder)

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped

1/2 tsp sea salt

2 tbsp seasoned bread crumbs

1 egg



In a medium saute pan over medium heat, add olive oil onion, peppers, garlic. Saute until translucent. Remove and cool. Add veggies & sundried tomato to beans and mash, mix thoroughly. Add all the remaining ingredients. Mix ingredients well to combine and form into 4 patties, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. In saute pan add enough olive oil to lightly coat the bottom of a non stick pan and cook patties 2 to 3 minutes per side. Add any tasty toppings you would like
