1 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter
2 T corn syrup (you can sub agave nectar)
5 medium tart apples, peeled and sliced
1.5 c milk (whatever you have at home will work)
1 t vanilla
1 loaf french bread sliced into 1 inch slices
-Cook the sugar, butter and syrup/nectar until syrupy and pour into a Pam'd 9x13' baking dish. -Spread the apple slices over the mixture and then the bread slices over that. -Whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla and pour over the bread. -Cover and refrigerate overnight. -Bake uncovered for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
