1 1/2 cups rich homemade salted chicken broth

2 to 4 ounces Chinese-style barbecued pork, roast duck, cooked shrimp or fried tofu, in bite-size pieces

2 ounces greens (spinach, watercress, baby bok choy, mustard greens or blanched broccoli)

4 ounces fresh Chinese-style egg noodles

1/2 cup bean sprouts

1 tablespoon sliced green onions

1 tablespoon coarsely chopped cilantro

CONDIMENTS:

Fish sauce

Chile sauce

Sliced green chiles

Pickled chiles

Lime wedges
