Disappointing. The cassis sounded promising

Meh. It was OK. Well, truthfully I hated it and tossed it out. The Cassis was too sweet and the lemon was not a good complement to the bourbon. I ended up making a better drink with Bourbon, Mirto, Simple sugar and bitters. Same amounts as above and ice. Yum.

It's a liqueur from Sardinia made using myrtle instead of black currents (which are in cassis). Kind of an odd ball bottle I happen to have gotten for a party.

1 oz fresh lemon juice

.5 oz creme de cassis

.5 oz simple syrup

1 dash Angostura bitters
