I made this, and it was ok. I think it needs something, like maybe more garlic and some lemon or lime? I might try it with garlic-chili sauce, it was just a bit too bland for me.

1 cup quinoa

1 red onion, thinly sliced

½ teaspoon pepper

1 clove garlic, finely minced

½ cup low-sodium soy sauce

¼ cup balsamic vinegar

2-3 dashes hot sauce (optional)
