Main Ingredients

3 tablespoons peanut oil

1 inch ginger , grated

1 (5 ounce) can bamboo shoots , jullinne

3 tablespoons rice wine or dry sherry , will work

1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4-1/2 teaspoon crushed red chili pepper flakes

2 tablespoons rice wine or dry sherry , will work (NOT COOKING SHERRY)

1/4 lb button mushroom , quartered

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1/2 cup slivered almond

4 ounces maifun rice noodles
