California Pizza Kitchen's Carnitas Pizza With Habanero Salsa (Imitation)

Ingredients for 4 servings

1 ball california pizza kitchen dough

2-3 lbs pork roast

1 package taco seasoning

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 cup roasted chopped almonds

1/2 cup olive oil

3-4 cloves chopped garlic

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

2 tbsps white vinegar

1 cup mozzarella cheese

1 cup jack cheese

1/2 red onion sliced

garbish with cilantro

1 onion

2 bunches cilantro

1 seeded habanero pepper finely chopped (use gloves)

1/2 onion finely chopped

1/4 cup orange juice

dash salt

? finely chopped cilantro

Preparation

1.

Make dough a day ahead of time. Combine pork, a chopped onion and taco seasoning a day before into slow cooker to make the shredded pork.

Preheat oven to 500.

Using a food processor or blender, combine 1 whole bunch of cilantro roughly chopped, garlic, Parmesan cheese, roasted almonds, some salt and pepper, olive oil, and vinegar. Blend until pesto consistency.

Spread pesto on crust.

5.

Add jack cheese, then onions, then pork. Add mozzarella if you want.

6.

Bake pizza til you see fit.

7.

While cooking, make the salsa: Combine habanero, red onion, cilantro and orange juice.
