Homemade Pizza Margherita!

Ingredients for 8 servings

Tomato Sauce:1 onion

1/2 garlic

6 fresh basil leaves

3 Tbsps cooking wine

1 Tbsp Salt

5 fresh tomatoes

1/2 cup water

1 Tbsp olive oil

Pizza dough:2 cups all-purpose flour

1 packets active dry yeast (1/4 oz)

1 tsps salt

1 Tbsps sugar

5 tsps salt

1 Tbs olive oil

3/4 cup warm water

Pizza toppings: 1 fresh mozzarella cheese

1 bag Sliced Pepperoni

Preparation

1.

Tomato Sauce:Put 1 tablespoon olive oil in a sauce pot with medium heat. Add the onions and garlic.Cook them about 5 minutes until the onions turn soft and the garlic turns golden brown.Add chopped tomatoes, chopped fresh basil leaves cooking wine and salt. Keep cooking about 20 minutes.

Put the flour in a large bowl. Add yeast,sugar,salt and oil. Pour 3/4 warm water in the bowl and mix up. Keep stirring the mixing until it turns sticky. Prepare the other big bow and put a little oil around the bowl then transfer the dough to this bowl. Brush a little oil on the top of the dough and cover it with a wet towel.

After 1 to 2 hours, once the dough has doubled in bulk,bring out to your working board.Put a lightly floured work surface and knead 3 times before using.

Chop the fresh mozzarella cheese.

Put a little oil around the baking pan the put the pizza dough.

First layer: Put the pizza sauce on the dough. Second layer: Add the chopped mozzarella cheese. Third layer: Put the sliced pepperoni.

7.

Preheat the oven to 375 F and bake the pizza about 15 minutes.

Slice your pizza and enjoy.
