2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), plus some for drizzling

1/4 cup molasses (eyeball it)

1/2 cup cider vinegar (eyeball it)

1/4 cup light or dark brown sugar (eyeball it)

1 can crushed fire-roasted tomatoes (28 ounces)

1 pound string beans, trimmed of stem ends
