Ingredients for 4 servings

4 large red bell peppers

1 small yellow onion, diced

2 large cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

2 oz. cream cheese

1/4 cup heavy cream

salt and pepper, to taste

3/4 pound Orecchiette pasta {or any other pasta you like}

good parmesan cheese, for the top

fresh basil {optional, however, I found it to be a nice compliment to the sauce and the cheese}
