Ingredients for 8 servings

1 cup soy sauce

1 cup sake

1/2 cup sugar

1 large bunch fresh cilantro, washed, dried and coarsely chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)

1 x 2 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled, cut into thick slices

4 x garlic cloves (mine were puny so I threw in about 7 or so)

1 1/4 tsp dried crushed red pepper flakes

2 lb flank steaks (approximately) or you can use 2 1-pound steaks (approximately)
