Dry Seasoning Rub

6 lbs untrimmed boneless pork shoulder , 2 halves (also known as Boston butt)

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup water

12 soft hamburger buns with sesame seeds, warm


6 tablespoons minced onions

4 cups hickory chips (smoke)

2 tablespoons salt

3 tablespoons paprika

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
