Ingredients for 4 servings

4 tablespoons white wine

1 cup quick-cooking grits

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 cups milk

2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

1 lb shrimp , peeled and deveined (I use the 26-30 count)

For the Shrimp

2 teaspoons minced garlic

salt and pepper

2 cups chicken broth

For the Parmesan Grits

1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese

1 cup sliced scallion

1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
