• BASIC TART CRUST:
• 1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
• 2 Tbsps sugar
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter
• 1/4 cup vegetable shortening
• 2 Tbsps ice water (more as necessary)
• PIE:
• 1 recipe basic tart crust (as shown above)
• 1 cup milk
• 1 package (4-serving size) french vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
• 8 ozs sour cream
• 1/4 tsp almond extract
• 3 ripe medium peaches, thinly sliced
• 2 Tbsps apple jelly, melted
