1 small zucchini or yellow squash , julienned

1 small carrot , julienned

16 (martini-size) pitted green olives , sliced into thin rings

3 sprigs thyme

1/4 cup gin

1/4 cup dry vermouth

1/2 cup chicken stock or broth

3 tablespoons cold unsalted butter , cut into 3 pieces

1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
