Lemon Melt-Away Cookies

After cooled, coat the cookies in some powdered sugar to make them look super cute!

These cookies are so easy to make and they are delicious! They melt in your mouth and I really love that!

Ingredients for 25 servings

4 tbsps Butter

2 tbsps + 1 tsp Powdered sugar

OneĀ  Zest of Lemon

2 tsps Lemon Juice

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup + 2 tbspĀ  Flour

2 tsp cornstarch

pinch salt

Preparation

1.

Add the butter and the powdered sugar in a bowl. Mix until combined.

2.

Zest one lemon in a separate bowl and add in the butter and powdered sugar mix along with the lemon juice and the vanilla. Mix Well.

Add the flour, cornstarch and the salt. Mix well.

4.

Lay the dough on plastic wrap. Roll out into a log until it is about an inch in diameter or about eight inches long.

5.

Put the rolled out dough in the fridge for an hour. After an hour, un-wrap the dough and cut it into pretty thin slices, but no to thin.

6.

Bake the cookies at 350 for twelve to fourteen minutes. Cool on cooling rack and Enjoy!
