This wasn't my favorite. I think my custard broke even though I kept the temp low and stirred constantly for almost an hour! It had a grainy texture at the end. Maybe my avocados weren't great. Whatever the case, I probably won't make this one again.

Ingredients for 4 servings

4 large egg yolks

2/3 cup honey

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 cups half and half

1 cup buttermilk

2 tablespoons lime zest

3 ripe California avocados, peeled, seeded, and pureed
