4 tablespoons olive oil

1 yellow onion, chopped

1 bell pepper, chopped

1/2 cup canned tomatoes, pureed

2 tablespoons pimenton (smoked paprika)

1 cup frozen peas

2 spicy chicken sausages (chorizo or andouille), diced

1 teaspoon saffron

about 6 chicken drumsticks

lemon juice for garnishing
