Ingredients for 6 servings

250 gr rigatoni or penne (or any other short-shaped pasta)

250 gr fresh common mushrooms (champignons), sliced

150 gr sujuk, cut into 1cm cubes (if you can't find sujuk than you can use italian saucage, which is however milder in taste)

200 gr onion, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, sliced

1 medium-sized tomato (200gr) cut into cubes (without the seeds)

80 ml olive oil (1/3 cup)

80 ml white wine (1/3 cup)

1 pinch of nutmeg (powder)

500 ml cream (full fat)

1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest

200 gr kaseri cheese, grated (if you can't find Greek kaseri, than try it with edam cheese)
