Oatmeal Stout Cake With Apples & Whisky Cream

119 faves | 2 recommends

Flavor was great - I did encounter a problem with too much liquid from the stout-( I soaked the oats for 2 hours but their was still quite a bit of liquid left) I had to bake it almost twice as long as the recipe called for. Next time I will get rid of the remaining liquid and see how this affects the recipe.
