Ingredients for 4 servings

2.0 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

3 parsnips , peeled, cored and chopped

2 onions , chopped

250.0g packet lean minced beef (12% fat)

4 carrots (about 450g/1lb), peeled and coarsely grated

2 beef stock , cubes dissolved in 425ml/¾pint boiling water

1.0 tsp cornflour

2-4 tbsp skimmed milk

2.0 tbsp tomato purée

900.0g potatoes , peeled and cubed

steamed broccoli or Savoy cabbage to serve
