2 ounces creamy, soft goat cheese

1/2 cup dried cherries (substitute dried cranberries if you prefer)

1/4 cup snipped fresh dill fronds

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

juice and zest of one lemon

2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat leaf parsley

3 tablespoons chopped fresh mint

3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

pinch (1/8 teaspoon) dried red chili flakes

sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
