400.0ml red wine (about ½ bottle)

450.0g puff pastry , home-made or bought

1 tbsp honey

FOR THE SAUCE

225.0g pork sausages , skinned

350 g turkey trimmings (from breast)

1 tbsp red wine vinegar

16-20 thin rashers rindless streaky bacon

100.0g fresh white breadcrumbs

300.0ml water or chicken stock made with 1/8 stock cube

2 onions , finely chopped

1 egg , beaten
