½ cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 vanilla bean, scraped

4 whole eggs, beaten

¼ teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon fresh ground cinnamon

12 plums (approx. 2 lbs) rinsed in cold water and dried, cut in half and pitted

½ cup short grain jasmine rice

2 cups water

1 cup coconut milk

2 tablespoons organic sugar

1 cinnamon stick
