4 (1 1/2" thick) large pork chops

1/4 teaspoon onion salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon butter

1 1/2 cups stale bread cubes

1 cup chopped baking apples, like Cortland or Granny Smith

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ground sage

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 cup melted butter

1/4 cup apple juice

Preheat oven to 350 F. Season chops. With a sharp knife slice a big pocket into the chop. Mix together stuffing. Fill pockets in chops. Heat butter in skillet over medium high heat. Add chops and fry on both sides till nicely browned. (Careful when turning, use tongs and gently turn). Place in oven and bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
