Kind of bland. Expect to add salt. I threw in some red pepper flakes and a bit of honey to make it more flavorful.

Just made this tonight with our bounty of tomatoes from the garden and red peppers from the farmers market. Delicious, especially with the roasted garlic and subtle smoky heat from the cayenne and paprika. Froze almost all of it and can't wait to have it once the weather gets chilly!

Ingredients

8 or 9 tomatoes, cored and quartered

3 red bell peppers, seeded and quartered

2 small yellow onions, cut into wedges

6 cloves garlic, unpeeled

5 cups vegetable broth

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

salt and pepper, to taste

olive oil
