Apple Tempura Dessert

Ingredients for 2 servings

1 egg yolk

2/5 cup flour

2/5th Cup of cold water

1 tsp baking powder

1 apple (red delicious or whatever you like)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

2 tsp brown sugar

1 crushed graham cracker

Preparation

1.

Create tempura batter. Beat one egg yolk. Add baking powder to flour, mix in egg, mix in well crushed up graham crackers. Mix in cold water and spices and sugar.

Peel apple, discard skin, slice into 1/4 inch slices. Dust slices with flour and coat slices with Tempura mixture. Add slices to hot oil, deep fry for few minutes, flip over, only cook until golden brown.

3.

Take out slices, dust with cinnamon & sugar, serve with caramel dipping sauce and vanilla ice cream scoop.
