I just have to post this: Be sure to boil up the marinade BEFORE basting the chicken in the oven. Don't know how they missed that little instruction in the original recipe. It would be unhealthy to baste the cooking wings with the used marinade before boiling it to kill any chicken bacteria.

These are really good. I added a couple teaspoons of microplaned, fresh ginger, and used sriracha for the chile sauce. I also boosted the garlic to 4 cloves, but then we like garlic, and it would depend on the size of the cloves. Not very garlicky in the result but it sure is YUMMY.

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 cup honey

3 pounds chicken wings, split and tips discarded

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup molasses

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
