1 tablespoon minced garlic

1/4 cup minced shallots

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 cup dry white wine

1/4 cup fat-skimmed chicken broth or vegetable broth

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Salt and pepper

4 ounces fresh chèvre (goat) cheese

1 tablespoon chopped parsley
