1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar

1/4 cup tequila

2 tablespoons orange-flavor liqueur or orange juice

3 tablespoons salad oil

1 tablespoon minced fresh jalapeƱo chili

1 clove garlic, peeled and minced or pressed

1/4 cup minced green onions (including tops)

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/8 teaspoon cayenne

1 orange (3/4 lb.)

2 firm-ripe avocados (about 1/2 lb. each)

2 quarts salad mix (1/2 lb.), rinsed and crisped
