1 (12 ounce) ham steaks , trimmed of fat and cut into 4 equal piecces

fresh ground black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes , drained and chopped

4 medium carrots , cut into 1 inch slices (about 1 1/4 cups)

8 ounces low-fat turkey kielbasa , cut into 1/2 inch slices

1 medium onion , thinly sliced (about 1 cup)
