Poppy seeds, for sprinkling

Sea salt, for seasoning

1 cup plus 2/3 tablespoon dashi

1 green apple, sliced horizontally, and into small thin wedges

1 bunch scallions, sliced into 1-inch lengths and sliced vertically as thinly as possible (then placed in ice water)
