1/4 cup picked chervil sprigs, for garnish

1/4 cup diced red onion

1 bay leaf

1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 stalk celery, diced

1 to 2 sprigs thyme

2 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
