2 slices of crustless white bread, soaked in water and squeezed dry

1 pound ripe tasty tomatoes, chopped

1 English cucumber, peeled, seeds removed, chopped

2 red bell peppers, chopped

1-2 cloves garlic

1 teaspoon sugar

2 Tablespoons red wine or sherry vinegar

6 ice cubes

½ cup olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional garnishes: Chopped egg, Diced red onion, Diced cucumber, Diced tomatoes, Fresh herbs
