1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne

1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1 large egg, lightly beaten

1 egg white, lightly beaten

1/2 cup milk

Vegetable oil, for frying

1/2 cup crème fraîche

1 1/4 teaspoons wasabi paste

1 1/4 teaspoons rice vinegar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup peppery sprouts, such as radish sprouts

2 ounces wasabi tobiko (see Note)
