2 cloves garlic, minced

2 shallots, finely chopped

1/2 cup peanut butter

2 tablespoons cane sugar or sugar in the raw

2 teaspoons salt

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

about 2 cups mixed vegetables: julienned carrots, radishes and onions, chopped leafy greens such as spinach, watercress and bok choy, sliced mushrooms, cauliflower, bean sprouts, etc.
