  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cup low-fat milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted, (plus more for buttering the skillet)
  • 2 heaping cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 5 tbsp pure maple syrup
