1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

3 1/2 tablespoons malt vinegar powder

2 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup buttermilk

2 tablespoons finely sliced chives

1 pinch coarsely ground black pepper
