I wouldn't think to combine lemongrass with butter, shrimp and Thai chillies but it was absolutely delicious. I sliced up the lemongrass instead of adding the stalks whole which added some texture. The chillies added a good amount of heat and the buttery taste just had you wanting for more. I highly recommend this dish!

Ingredients for 4 servings

500 g Large size prawns

50 - 100g Unsweetened butter

Crushed garlic

10-15 pcs Small red chilli (chopped) or dried crushed chilli

4-5 pcs Lemon grass stalk

1 tsp of brown sugar

salt to taste



In a medium fire heat the pan with butter, saute crushed garlic until brown, add prawns and chili together with lemon stalk sugar and salt. Cover and leave for 10-15 mins until cook. Serve with plain rice or fried rice.
