  • 1 tsp minced fresh thyme
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 small or medium, or 6 large shucked oysters
  • 8 slices of bread, or 4 soft rolls, toasted
  • 4 Tbsps tartar sauce, homemade or purchased
