13 Ingredients

2 cups + 2 Tbsps all-purpose flour
1/2 tsps baking soda
1/4 cup dark cocoa powder
3 Tbsps instant coffee powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 stick (1/2 cup) of unsalted butter, melted and cooled for 10-15 minutes
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg + 1 egg yolk, at room temperature
2 tsps vanilla extract
1/4 cup coffee liqueur + 1 tsp (Godiva, Kahlua, etc)
1 cup chocolate chunks
sea salt for topping

“these are sooo good! i used Starbucks Italian Roast microground instant coffee but couldn't find 'dark' choc cocoa...used 100% organic cacao powder w/dark choc chips so mine were lighter in color. excellent for people that like the coffee taste. these were a hit with my friends & coworkers!”
