Ingredients for 12 servings

150 g unsweetened breakfast flakes (I use buckwheat and rice based flakes)

250 g plain flour

150 g natural yogurt

50 ml milk

1 tsp baking powder

125 g unrefined or golden caster sugar

2 large eggs

30 g vegetable oil

1 large firm pear (or 2 smaller pears)

200 g damsons, stones removed and cut into eights

1 tsp allspice

30 g chopped walnuts

A pinch of salt
