3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

¼ cup packed brown sugar

2/3 cups canola or vegetable oil

4 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 ½ cups buttermilk

1/2 cup mashed banana

1/4 cup chopped walnuts
