1/8 teaspoon Chinese 5-spice powder

2 tablespoons dry sherry

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1/4 cup orange juice

1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest

2 tablespoons minced cilantro

1/2 pound skinned, boneless chicken thigh meat, cut into 1/2-inch-wide


3/4 pound large shrimp, peeled, cleaned ( 1/2 pound after cleaning)

Salt and pepper

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1 cup chicken broth

2 teaspoons cornstarch

3 cups stir-fried vegetables (from Master Recipe)

4 to 5 cups hot, cooked brown rice (from Master Recipe)
