We are now full-on in gift giving season and I for one have always been a fan of giving and receiving homemade gifts. I don't care if it's 4 chocolate chip cookies wrapped in foil, a hand knit scarf, or a macaroni picture frame. Homemade is better. Period. The Green Tomato-Apple chutney is perfect for chowing down and giving away. Get a nice mason jar, some ribbon and tada! Great for Indian food or on crackers. A practical and palate friendly gift. Don't shop. Cook.
