  • 3 Tbsps chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion , cut in rings
  • 1 Tbsp coarsely chopped sun-dried tomato
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup capers , drained
  • 8 chicken legs with thigh (attached pieces)
  • 1/2 cup pitted nicoise olive
  • 1 Tbsp mixed Italian herbs
  • 2 ozs anchovies , drained and chopped
  • 3 Tbsps oil
  • 35 ozs plum tomatoes
  • 12 garlic cloves , halved
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
