Best garlic bread I've ever had! I was a perennial garlic-bread-burner but this came out perfect. The lemon zest makes the garlic taste lighter; I used a blend of fresh herbs from the garden - thyme, chives, basil, rosemary and parsley. Delicious!

1-2 x heads of garlic

1-2 sticks Unsalted Butter

1 bunch chives (optional)

zest of one lemon (optional)
